Mysterious and spontaneous, masculine and feminine, sometimes daring and occasionally shy – it’s all in you
Fall 2026 is an ode to women, to bringing together all the elements and character traits that make them unique. Mysterious and spontaneous, thoughtful and openminded, masculine and feminine, sometimes daring and occasionally shy – it’s all in you. Summum embraces all sides of her and lets them speak with beautiful separates that in all their individuality still form a harmonious whole.
elegant ties
One of the most striking elements in the first edition for Fall 2026 is the bow, which is not merely decorative in Summum’s world. It is also a functional detail that changes the shape of silhouettes in an instant, offering variety. Think of waistbands and cords that can transform an easy loose fitting blouse into a fitted top – if some extra flair for a night out is on the wish list.
A blazer easily undergoes the same metamorphosis. With drawstrings on the sleeves, you can roll them up until you get a ruffle effect, but ignoring them and casually rolling up the sleeves or leaving them long is also an option. Long, loose straps at the neckline add to the mix.
Decorative, yes, but also a means of tweaking your style. Dangling loosely they give a rock ‘n’ roll edge, but draped around the neck or tied dandyesque they turn a swinging day-to-day top into a showpiece.
from make-up
to magic
Ingrid van Hemert, hair and make-up artist for Summum, travelled to Belgium with the team for the Fall 2026 campaign shoot. How did it go?
'On the first day, we had a wonderful location in an amazing house with lots of natural light. This is great for make-up, and an indoor space like that makes it easy for everyone to work.
In any case, I always enjoy working with Summum. They’ve become a bit like family, since I’ve been working with them for so long. I know exactly what Jorien wants: a bit edgy, sexy, a healthy glow… This time we had a model with a lovely bunch of curls. For the second day I often ask the model not to wash her hair, since it’s perfectly prepped that way. This turned out to be for the
best. Due to the unexpectedly thick fog that occurred, curly hair would have quickly become a frizzy mess, especially if it had just been washed. The fog, although not planned, was really magical for the picture.
As this shoot was for the Fall collection, the make-up could be a little warmer and deeper in order to create the right atmosphere. The model’s skin was beautiful. Thankfully, because skin is the most important base; prepping it properly makes for the most beautiful make-up. I get inspiration from everywhere: from the streets and nature to art, fashion weeks, films and, of course, social media.'
