Illustratrice Kay van Bellen, die met haar magazine en mediamerk The Visual Anthropologist de wereld van de mode vangt in pakkende illustraties, is een liefhebber van fashion. Of beter: van stijl. Persoonlijke stijl die ze in een paar treffende penseelstreken en kleurvlakken feilloos neerzet. Summum maakte kennis met haar werk en was verrast door haar authentieke en vrouwelijke beeldtaal. Daarin zien wij gelijkenissen met de kernwaarden van ons merk, dat dezelfde creativiteit, originaliteit en vrouwelijkheid nastreeft. Voor Spring 2025 gingen wij een exclusieve samenwerking aan met Kay van Bellen. Voor Summum laat zij verschillende items uit de Blue Daze-denimcollectie op papier tot leven komen. For Spring 2025, team Summum sought a shoot location that captured the essence of the season and found it in Pantanello, a charming olive grove in rugged Sicily. Owners Rhiannon Pickles and Taco produce organic olive oil there using traditional methods. The Sicilian house, with its white plastered walls and wooden doors, sits in a landscape that’s both wild and vibrant. Fields bloom in spring, while ancient olive, lemon, and orange trees bear fruit in the fall. This ever-changing scenery, along with a deep respect for craftsmanship andnature, inspired the Spring 2025 collection.

Sicily is an island of contrasts: the lively cities of Palermo and Catania, quiet villages among olive groves, the imposing Mount Etna and rugged cliffs. Here, the flavours of the sea, the smell of citrus fruits and everything that grows in the sun-drenched earth come together in a culinary experience that stimulates your senses.

Every woman is unique and has her own story. Summum designs clothes that fit you - whoever you are. Career woman, loving mother, adventurer, creative spirit or all them together: at Summum, you'll find clothes that highlight your femininity and make you feel comfortable and confident. How different that can look, is something we show in the new 'Styled by' section, in which women tell their personal story and show how they wear Summum. In doing so, we hope to inspire other women.
